Instant Savings Measures (ISMs)
SMART POWER STRIPS
Smart power strips are intuitive enough to supply power to devices only when you or the device call for it. When plugged into a traditional outlet or power strip there is a constant draw for power jacking up energy costs. This can be used for things such as gaming systems, or other devices that link to TV’s or Computer monitors and more…
WATER CONSERVATION DEVICES
Water conservation is a hot topic now a days. One easy change is getting aerators for your faucets and installing water saving shower heads that do not reduce the high pressure you have come to love. It will help cut down on not only water bills but fuel as well.
PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTATS
How often do you think about the temperature in your home. With energy cost rising we bet more than you used to. A programmable thermostat take a little of that off of your plate. You can still use them as you always have should you wish to. They provide a much more accurate reading of the temperature of your home. By using the set it and forget it mode the system will do the work and reduce your energy/fuel consumption significantly.
